My primary reasons are so I have more control over the blog (WordPress has a lot more features than the blogs at wordpress.com), and because I wanted a domain (bechristian.net) tied to the blog. This way I can associate email addresses with the site, put up other content on static pages, etc. Everything else will pretty much look the same :)
I don’t want this to be a “know a guy who knows a guy” story…but one of the people in the class ahead of mine is good friends with the dude who started the Protomen, and I’ve talked to him a few times about them. My understanding is they only play two or three shows a year (meaning there have probably been less Protomen shows than actual Mega Men series). Come on http://tropaadet.dk/mandyshepard10289081845
